Hello everyone! I’m so happy to have you here with me as I share my love and passion for all things fitness, health, fashion, and travel! I want to show people that it IS possible to have a “normal” life while still balancing work, family, friends, WHILE working out a few times a week and eating healthy!
My motivation is due to my family history of diabetes, high blood pressure, eating disorders, and heart disease….so basically all the bad stuff that no one wants. I want to be around to not only see, but play with my great-grandkids! This is something I think everyone should be able to do and it’s what drives me to help others maintain a healthy lifestyle and to help others make a change in their lives.
My approach is pretty holistic, I am a sucker for fruits and veggies and I try to eat raw as often as possible. But i will admit….come close now because I don’t want too many people knowing…….

When I’m not
eating brownies blogging, you can find me doing yoga, strength training, CrossFit, or other functional movements.

Before getting involved in the health and fitness industry, Robert was part of the business world. A few years into his career in economics, he realized his true passion was not economics. Robert made a drastic change at that point to quit his job and went back to school to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science.
Robert is extremely dedicated to fitness and leading a healthy lifestyle. His approach is to teach others how to incorporate fitness into their lives rather than having fitness take over their lives. In his years of training in the U.S., he has learned many important aspects of fitness, such as appreciating proper movement of the human body and how to incorporate that into his training style. Robert believes that having a body that functions well and feels great will lead to a body that looks great as well.
Robert also believes in continuing education since the field of health and fitness is always evolving. He has multiple certifications and continues to attend seminar and courses around the world to bring his clients the latest techniques in physical training.
Finally, his main goal is to increase the awareness of health and fitness and to motivate and help as many people as possible.
BS in Exercise Science – Exercise science involves the study of the human body as it pertains to movement and function. In depth knowledge of physiology, kinesiology, nutrition and the human body as a whole are acquired through this program.
BS in Biology – Biology is concerned about all aspects of a living organisms; from microorganisms to humans. It is also related to other branches of science like chemistry and physics. It is also known as a premed course since it tackles all the basics of science. In depth knowledge of human anatomy and physiology are acquired through this program.
CSCS – Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists are professionals who apply scientific knowledge to train individuals for the primary goal of improving athletic performance and injury prevention. They conduct sport-specific testing sessions, design and implement safe and effective strength training and conditioning programs and provide guidance regarding nutrition and injury prevention.
FMSC – A Functional Movement Specialist uses a ranking and grading system that documents movement patterns that are vital to normal human function. By screening these patterns, the Functional Movement Specialist readily identifies functional limitations and asymmetries. These are issues that can reduce the effects of functional training and physical conditioning and distort body awareness. The Functional Movement Specialist monitors the FMS score to track progress and to identify those exercises that will be most effective to restore proper movement and build strength in each individual.
CPT – Certified Personal Trainers are health/fitness professionals who, using an individualized approach, assess, motivate, educate and train clients regarding their health and fitness needs. Certified Personal Trainers design safe and effective exercise programs, provide the guidance to help clients achieve their personal health/fitness goals and respond appropriately in emergency situations.
CF-L1 – A CrossFit Coach is knowledgeable in the methodology, programming and foundational movements of CrossFit. The aim of CrossFit is to forge a broad, general and inclusive fitness program by building a program that will best prepare trainees for any physical contingency.
