Ok I know what you’re thinking….“Downhill” biking? It might sound easy but this was TOUGH! This was held in Zaarour Club…which in the winter is a ski resort! So you can imagine how steep the mountain was that we were going down. So I guess a more accurate name of the even shouldve been Down-a-Mountain Biking in Zaarour.
To make things even more challenging the organizers made bumps and curves all the way down. The best way I can describe the course is that is the closest to motocross course. And probably the most extreme biking that I’ll probably ever do in my life!
We took the ski lift up to the top of the mountain – which was a gorgeous experience to do in the fall – and hitched our bikes behind us on the lift. The weather was perfect and the sky was clear so you could see everything around you – don’t take my word for it, check out the pictures in the gallery below!
Many thanks to Trek for taking care of all the riders and their bikes during our trek down the mountain!
