Fit Celebs – Love ’em or Hate ’em

Some people think that celebrities shouldn’t be applauded for their amazing bodies, after all they have more money and more time freedom than the average person. So then is it fair for them to flaunt their bodies? As you can see in this screenshot there were a lot of negative comments on Facebook to an article about Ciara’s postpartum weight loss. She lost an amazing 60 lbs (27 kgs) after she had her baby and all in a matter of months!
Celebrities are plastered all over magazines, billboards, and screens all over the world. So you would think that considering all the scrutiny they face that they would all have 6 pack abs and the perkiest butts. But that isn’t the case, there are tons of overweight or unhealthy celebrities! Even with access and the money to have the best trainers, nutritionists, and chefs at the end of the day these celebs, as a person, still have to have discipline, dedication, and motivation to follow through with any workout/nutrition plan. Ciara put in hours of work each day to loose the weight and since she was in shape before she got pregnant that helped her body bounce back even faster. Plus she had the added motivation of a break up to get that #revengebody 😉 Celebrities also have demanding press circuits, filming schedules, long photoshoots, and spend a lot of time on the road eating out at restaurants. That means they really have to make eating well, getting enough sleep, and workouts a priority in order to succeed.
Personally I LOVE fit celebrities, they are using their huge platform to inspire and motivate thousands of people! They are showing the world that being super skinny or obese isn’t healthy, which as you can imagine I fully support. 🙂 These fit celebs are photographed leaving the gym constantly, and posting on social media selfies from the gym. We can’t dismiss their accomplishments just because they have more help than we do, they have those amazing bodies because they worked hard for it. For example, have you seen the Victoria’s Secret Angels workout?? Those girls can kick some butt!
