Hydrate and DE-Bloat with THIS Smoothie

Have you ever been so bloated that you just feel like your belly was about to pop?? Trust me – I’ve been there! And in those dark moments the last thing you feel like doing is eating or drinking BUT this recipe is truly magical! It’s simple to make and with ingredients that are full of water and fiber- both things that will drastically help with bloating! If you follow me on snapchat (just search pearlmaalouf) you’ll see that I make this smoothie at LEAST once a week not just for de-bloating but also to hydrate as well!

Literally JUST 1 pear, 4 cucumbers (peeled if you wish), and about 1/4 cup of water. If you like it cold (like me) I add in about 4 ice cubes. I have a Magic Bullet/NutriBullet which has the perfect little cup for this drink. For a extra hydration points you can substitute coconut water for water!

I sometimes substitute the pear for a mango, kiwi, strawberries, or whatever other fruit I have on hand. But the base is always peeled cucumbers and ice 🙂 Cucumbers add such a subtle, refreshing flavor and since they are made up of 95% water they are great for HYDRATION and DE-bloating!
