SWEET POTATO TOAST: 3 WAYS

One of the first things I tell weight loss clients when they ask for diet advice is to cut out bread from their diet. It’s something that is so simple, but such a great way to cut calories that doesn’t involve too much thinking. The ones that actually follow through tell me that they are finding themselves reach for more fruits and vegetables to stay fuller which is exactly what they should be doing!

So when I saw this alternative way to make TOAST I was super excited! If you’re cutting out bread for whatever reason, whether it be for weight loss or an allergy, this could be revolutionary for you! Try it out and let me know what you think 🙂

To Make Sweet Potato Toast:
1. Slice sweet potatoes lengthwise into 1/4 inch slices.

2. Add to the toaster like you would bread and toast on high. It took me 2 rounds to get it cooked how I like with a little bit a browning on both sides.

3. Add toppings!

Avocado Toast: Sliced avocado, salt, pepper & lemon zest.
Nutty: Almond Butter, banana slices and cinnamon!
Tuna Salad: Tuna, mayo, relish & red onion to mine but feel free to make it how you like it.
