I practice what I preach. In every newsletter that I send out (you should sign up for them!) I talk about the fact that we spend a lot of our time on various social media platforms and that we should fill up our feeds with positive and inspiring people! I, of course, suggest that you follow us on social media (we love facebook and instagram!) for daily nutrition, fitness, lifestyle posts and occasional funny videos 🙂 But who do I follow?
Since I do a lot of different styles of workouts I follow a lot of different inspirational people in each field (like fitness, crossfit, and gymnastics). One group of people that I really love following are yogis…the ways they are able to bend their bodies are incredible. Their photos and videos motivate me to always stretch and try new poses!
Recently some of the women that I follow have become pregnant and it’s been amazing to see what they continue to do even with a bun in the oven! Their approach to pregnancy is truly inspiring! Many expectant moms stop working out once they know their pregnant and although pregnancy can be tiring, emotional and nauseating time – these images show a different side to the story. Women can be pregnant and still be beautiful, artistic, wonderfully bendy and really strong!
I must mention that these ladies are very advanced in their yoga and this isn’t something that you should start -after- you are pregnant. These ladies have been practicing yoga for several years prior to getting pregnant. With that note, enjoy these photos and videos and get to a yoga class today!
